The Rochester Golf and Country Club recently remodeled their Bar and Restaurant area. During our initial walk thru they talked about how they were using their current audio system. We discovered they had speakers mounted on the walls that were not connected to anything and they had a member who brought in a portable sound system during Men’s League to make announcements. This small inconveniences were livable in their eyes but were major AV fouls in our book. We started by removing the old large speakers that were nothing by eye sores and replaced them with slick looking ceiling speaker painted to match their ceiling. Then we added a wireless microphone and a couple of mic jacks. Then we added an easy to use wall controller that will allow them to switch from their music to the sound on the TVs to the microphones during events, all from one cool click touch pad. Sometimes it doesn’t take an entire redo on a sound system, just some important modifications.
